Anne began her riding career at the age of eight when her grandmother took her for summer riding lessons at Jamaica Bay Riding Academy in NY.  She continued lessons at Butler School in MD.  She then joined Seneca Valley Pony Club, from which she graduated with a ‘B’ rating. While in Pony Club, she participated in Nationals several times with the Capital Region.

Anne competed in USEA (then the USCTA) Recognized Horse Trials and (long format) three-day events through the Intermediate CCI** level in the US and Canada.  Highlights include riding on the winning NAYRC Area II (Young Riders team) in 1995 and winning the CCI* Essex 3-Day Event in 1997.  She has also competed through Third Level at USDF Recognized Dressage shows.  Highlights include winning the GAIG East Coast Championships at Second Level in 2005.

Anne currently works in the non-profit sector, but finds time away from the desk to manage Monocacy Spring Farm, trail ride her retired police horse “Guy” and support her son’s 4-H and pony club activities.
